Description

Krung are a subgroup of Brao people.
On this cd, you can listen to a krung funeral the 2 days ceremony is taking place outside, around the coffin where two female relatives are sitting and singing, crying... surrended by an ensemble of 13 gongs (5 nipple gongs and 8 flat gongs). This music is strictly tabu for krung people to listen, outside of a funeral. Violating this tabu might lead to disease and death!
6 tracks recorded during the first night of the ceremony.
